Struve 747 - Orion

I was looking at a few doubles in Orion last night (whilst being blown all over the place !)

In the book Turn Left @ Orion (Pg) 55 it lists Struve 747 as a double with the following components:

A -> 4.7 Mag (Primary)

B -> 5.5 36" SW from A

but in the description on how to find it on page 54 it says the primary is mag 5.5 and the secondary is mag 6,5

anyone know which is right?

thanks, as an aside, what's SkySafari like ? better than stellarium for example? I see it's available for Android devices now

I think it is better than Stellarium, particularly on a Smartphone. It's about the only planetarium program I use now

 Thanks for the tip! Stellarium, is a great tool but it never ran properly on my old tablet which is a pity because I like to use that with the scope. SkySafari on the other hand works just brilliantly on the tablet. Best $3.48 I've spent!

Is the pro version worth the Extra at around £25?

It is very good, but well worth waiting until they put it in promotion at around half price. They seem to do it every now and then, often around key astro events
