jaspalchadha
Hi all me again.. As you all of you are aware that the Heart Nebula has been a much loved target to image by us AP in the last months or so.I have seen some amazing images.. I thought I'd try it myself and starting capturing the Ha during the nights of 6th and 7th December.. Yup death wish when the moon was at 100% and the other night 99% luminosity.. I wanted to push my 3nm astrodon filter and decided on 20 minutes subs. All in all I captured 3 hours Ha, and an hour each for SII and OIIISkywatcher Esprit 100ED ( 5 element )QSI 690 Ioptron CEM 60 mount I have fallen in love with the core of the heart nebula (Mel 15) and I have taken off the refractor and stuck back on the RC 250TT scope which I will start to image with when the skies clear once again in London. Boren
Wonderfully detailed clear structures, and an overall unconvential framing make this an excellent image imho.Cheers,Harel
ollypenrice
This image has just an hour each of O111 and S11 captured during the moonlight from London? I'm sure this will be a great inspiration to those who lack a dark site. It's a remarkable acheivement.Olly
