Give it a few minutes and it looks as though it should be possible to watch it fly over the UK

I suppose technically, "fly" is the wrong word.  "fall" is probably more accurate...

Play it safe and use: pass over the UK.         

Just leave others to argue between fly and fall.

Well, I watched on the website and went out to see it (bit of a struggle through the cloud) as it went almost directly overhead.  A colleague near Southampton saw it too

If anyone would like a very nice satellite-tracking program, that will show you when the ISS is going to be above you, this one is great:

The HeavensAbove one I found to be a pain to download, and is full of advertisements unless you cough-up money. The PreviSat one is totally free and a breeze to download. You won't need to give it info on where to send SPAM to!   It will also be easy to cofigure and lists many more satellites as well - including the Iridium-class that give off those bright flares some confuse with flying-saucers.
