Jupiter GRS revisited March 9th 2014

[Space Cowboy]

We've not had any good seeing for some time so I've gone back to when we did in March. I remember there was hazy cloud on this night but rock solid seeing. Jupiter was at a similar size than it is now but next March it will be 10% larger so if we get similar conditions then we should get some nice shots.

I've tweaked this with the selection tool sharpen method.

That's a superb process. Think you have got more vivid detail out where it matters. All virtues of the excellent tool. But it has to be in the correct hands. And clearly from this it is.

Very nice indeed. Haven't had a go at Jupiter yet this season (except one brief look through the scope to conclude the seeing was horrible )
