You don't think that someone read I whated another and regreted selling my 6mm Radian do you? At that price no way, I saw a 6mm Delos sold last week for the same money.

The last I bought from TH was 190 pounds and they gave me 10% discount, 171 quid.

Fozzie,

A wise move for the simple reason I thought I would just try one Delos about 3 years back, they are like the triangular Toblerone when biting one off, somehow you just can't take one, you always end up with more in you mouth or 7 in your eyepiece case  .

John rates the SLV and that's good enough for me, I can't get them here, well not easily  .

I think that Radian will struggle to sell anywhere near that price, especially as there is a 6mm Delos for the same asking price further down the lists. I think I paid about £100 each for my Radians on the used market and I reckon they are very good for that sort of price

Alan, that's a good analogy and I do very much like Toblerone...

I guess it's supply and demand, if they're not available I guess it could go for a bit more. ..

thought I saw an eBay one from the states go for over £100 excluding shipping the other week...

Agreed, I think the seller is being very optimistic.

Fozzie,

I can't claim it but it's variation of Billy Conolly's so had to be cleaned up somewhat. Well I think the only word that made it through was Toblerone itself, funny man though.

I think John's pricing is on the nose, 100 or maybe 110 pounds if in top condition, I let my 10mm go for 90 but it was un-boxed, wish I had kept that too. As much as I would like the 6mm Radian again, I have the Delos the Ethos and a BGO at that focal length so it's not as if I really need it. It is just that the 6mm Radian Delos and BGO would make a nice head to head .

I think Billy is probably the first person I remember as a comedian when growing up.. probably because I wasn't allowed to see anything he did... but yes very funny and very intelligent man too..

That would be a great shoot out.. maybe one day..

Hope that weather's being kind..!

Fozzie,

Weather, worst Novemeber I have ever had, infact worst month in 7 years or records, that will teach me for buying a new mount and paying for the Sumerian scope, what's going to happen when it comes. Terrible 2 nights all month and one of them was a full Moon.

I have the Meade 24mm SWA 5000 to put against the Panoptic, it's not even been out of it's box yet.

Yeah that new gear (very nice indeed) will anger the cloud gods for sure..

I've not managed 1 night in November what with clouds and my new born who ended up in hospital for two weeks with an infection after his birth.. he's ok now and settled at home..

I'm looking at Monday night to give the slv a good run on the moon and a few doubles if I can get my act together and put a plan in place!

Hope the little one is well now, I am sure it was worring, I was worried about Daniel when he was so small, I thought he may break when I picked him up. When you get to 51 and not had children you sort of forget about having them but I try to be a good Dad to him. He has just started what we would call primary school and he is driving me up the all.

At least you make me feel better with the weather report.
