Jupiter and Mars re-visited

Like a lot of you I know, it has been a long time since many of the UK based imagers have posted anything worth posting on here because of the awful weather! To those of you that have managed anything keep up the great work because it keeps the thread alive!

I thought it a good idea to post my favourite images up from the last Jupiter and Mars apparitions in the hope that others may follow to keep the post interesting at least till the conditions become more suitable! Seeing was great on these nights here and I hope that we can all get a few nights like this!

Jupiter was taken on the 17th January 2014, Mars on the 30th May. Both images taken through a C11 Edge HD using a ZWO120MC cam at F25.

Thanks for your comments Michael and Reggie. It's most unusual to get these kind of conditions here in the UK. If we do get some though I will look forward to taking advantage of it with the C14!
