Recalibrating PHD (PHD2) After Initial Full Calibration When Drift Aligning

Recommended Posts

Hello all

I was wondering..when drift aligning with PHD (1 or 2), once I fully calibrate on, say an AZ star, slightly East of the meridian, and then turn off dec. guiding, once completed, do I have to repeat a full calibration on an Eastern lat. star, or can I get away with one full calibration (as long as my second star is in the same direction of the meridian)?

Andy
