Great idea for solar

Seems like a good idea, Stu. And at that price there's little to lose.

Cheapest I can find is from Germany or Ireland. (How come everything like that seems to be cheaper in the US?)

Will prolly give it a go - if I ever see the sun again!!

I like to use an hooded vest but it's a bit hot in the summer during daytime this looks great and it's quite cheap !

wearing a cap this way, must be fairly effective? Combined with a winged eye guard on the opposite side too ? (Which my new baader zoom has)

Nice idea. I find a hat does a great deal in terms of shielding the direct rays of the sun, but this might be a nice addition. A local arts and crafts store used to supply sheets of thin, flexible foam (also in black) which I used to make lightweight baffles in the past. Maybe I could make something out of the remaining stuff (or get a new sheet). I think they cost under a euro.

Last of the big spenders, I wedged the cardboard tray from a packet of hot-cross bun into the mounting rings of my white-light ST80. It actually works a treat
