It's surprisingly easy, even in small binos! :-)

I expected it to be an easy find around midnight last sunday,to no avail! Maybe it was just me.I've probably spotted Uranus several times,and just not realised it for what it was.

If you look at this chart:

..the star just above Uranus is exactly the same magnitude as the planet. That should help identify it in small binos.
