Dslr Moon

Tried the moon for the first time tonight with ED80, Nikon D7100 and a Nikon 1.7tc which i guess is about 1020mm.

This is about a dozen shots stacked in PS.

Trying to decide if Barlow/ZWO ASI 120mm/Televue/Baader zoom  or a 2nd hand 127mak would be the best next step for lunar shots?

Very nice image, a small frac can get some very good lunar shots and do a reasonable job on planets when barlowed up but ultimately the Mak would make life a bit easier.

That's good work, plus it looks like you have the famous Lunar X about 1/3 of the way up the terminator.
