Possible SuperNova in M61

On another site I'm on one of the users posted this. A possibel Super Nova in M61. Its an early morning object and my equipment is down bc my laptop got fried. Anyone else heard of this yet or able to get some imaging time in on it? Was imaged this morning so very new. Plus all you guys and gals across the pond will be able to image it before anyone else in the states can again.

More like wheres the coffee. I would rather just stay up all night than get up that early lol. Im a night owl and in no way an early bird. But thats just me.

Best I could do this morning through the murk. I'd estimate mag 13.6 or so.

Quattro 8" f/4 + Lodestar-C, 60s single sub in alt-az taken with LodestarLive. SQM 18.9, 99% humidity.

Oh for an observatory… misaligning (twice!) on Jupiter rather than Regulus at 5.30 in the morning didn't help.

If anyone does fancy getting up early then there are reports of yet another bright-ish SN close by in Coma Berenices (Mag 13.8 Type Ib in NGC 4080). See here for more details. Two for the price of one! I wish I'd known about this earlier today -- at least NGC 4080 gets up to a decent altitude before dawn.
