Taken at 6.03 UT with QHY5L-II C & Auto Dob 250.

Average seeing with hazy sky but its good to see the big fella high and mighty again.

I don't have an image of my setup but I can describe it. The DOB is unmodified apart from a skywatcher auto focuser and a 7 inch USB laptop fan on the primary. I don't use an Ota shroud or any dew shields and rely on hairdryer if secondary dews up. 3x TV Barlow with extension tube used with Qhy cam.

That's about it nothing too fancy.

Very nice start Stuart, we saw something similar the other morning also - except in mono!

Thanks again guys! Think I will stick with the colour cam this season Darryl and grab that moment of good seeing. The mono does not seem to make much difference on Jupiter unlike Saturn.
