Stellarium 0.12.4/Linux MInt 17 weirdness

Anyone else had issues updating star catalogs on stellarium/mint17???

won't update past stars4 either as root or standard user, just redownloads stars4

never mind.... had to manually edit the json file.

Wouldn't work for me with 0.12.4 on 64-bit Windows 7 either. I upgraded to 0.13.1 then it all worked fine.

no dep issues, just had to wget the catalogs and manually stick them in the right place.... no biggie.

i might compile v13 from source though

If you add the ppa to your sources list you will get via without having to compile it yourself. Just a warning though I have 13 on mint 17 and it has some stability issues.

Should read "13" not "via" in the above. Posted from my phone which inevitably results in errors and for some reason I cannot edit.
