ST80 40 minute north american nebula

Here is my trial at the widefield north american nebula with DSLR.  Got a bit of dust in there and a lot of noise from too many curves.  Didn't do a star mask the first processing, just wanted to see what would come out of it.  I will process a bit more and see what else I can do with it.  Its a bit tough with the heavy chromatic aberration.  Makes we want an APO that's for sure.

19 x 2:00 1600ISO unguided shots with orion st80 no calib files.

The second one I processed using Pixinsight instead of photoshop.  I like this one a lot better for sure.  Pixsinsight is a tough program to use but the tools in it are awesome.

Saturation and selective coloring, along with halo removal and deep space noise reduction.

Gosh it's great.

I think to get my head ever around processing will be a challenge.
