DaveS
Stymied every which wayAfter getting the scope set up as it cleared about 10 o/c I've been faffing around trying to even GOTO *anything* at all.I had high hopes of imaging The Pacman tonight could I find it? Not a chance. Several tries at synching and slewing with EQMOD playing silly wotsits with the meridian. Nothing came up with any filter or none so I gave up with that and tried M33 No go again, and all the while my RDF is dewing up making manual checking a nightmare. In between all this PHD is giving me the run-around, and find my focus has gone out again.ATM I'm trying a run on M45 which in AP terms is a bit like putting the training wheels back on.All the while there's a beautiful clear night out there but you know what? I may just jack it in for tonight and GOTO bed, see if I can find that.Fed up.
DaveS
What make it worse is that it's the darkest night we've had here for quite a while. There's even a hint of the Milky Way and I've glimpsed M31 with averted vision. Which for a supposed Bortle 8-9 area is pretty good going.
Dave In Vermont
I just put my pet scorpions in your bed. Now go embrace the dark night! Dave
DaveS
Haha I'm still here. Playing tag with the cloud, it'll be a race to see if I can get the final set of B subs to make up my first LRGB image. Yeah, I know M45 isn't exactly taxing but right now my self-confidence has taken a bit of a knock.I've till got unfinished business with The Pacman. I'm gonna get you!
