Set up under grey skies at 10am , more in hope than anticipation as the forecast was less than optimistic ... got back to the graft until a gap appeared at quarter to four , downed tools and was on it in a flash , very steady seeing was a pleasant bonus , shot 115 ... stacked 92 ...

Great photo Steve. I only had chance to view the Sun through my Coronado 10x25 Binomites and 2192 looked fantastic. Only had 10 minutes so not able to use the scope. Your photo is crisp and very sharp - excellent view of the sunspot.

I wish I wouldn't keep on coming across these images as I am sick as a pig that the first monster sunspot in a long time is hiding behind wall to wall clouds where I am yet I am able to see on a daily basis what I'm missing out on
