Martin Meredith
A further 30s capture from last weekend was Arp 113 in Andromeda. This is to me an unusual field where a number of stars from our own neighbourhood make a chance alignment with a bunch of NGC galaxies to produce a diamond ring effect. It was quite tricky to separate the foreground stars from the background galaxies so I labelled up an inverse of the central part of the image. Also marked are the magnitudes of some fainter galaxies in the same field. There appear to be plenty more to the lower right of Arp 113.Hoping to go looking for further members of the Arp catalogue this weekend if the forecast holds out...cheersMartin
