Need help with my red dot finder

Hi all,

First let me say this site is great and the members are awesome. Everyone has been very helpful.

So here is my latest dilema, I just got my Explore Scientific 80mm ed and bought a olivon OLRDFUS red dot finder that doesnt attach. I think I need some kind of adapter or bracket, but I have no idea which one. Because I am going to buy it on line, I want to get it right the first time. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Your Olrdfus finder didn't come with a base (mounting-bracket)? I just cruised all the advertisements I could find on Google, and they ALL came with a base. I'd return it and shop elsewhere.

It did, but it doesnt fit with the bracket on the scope. I don't see anyway to mount it using the existing bracket.

Might be handy to post up pictures of what you have got, then it will be easier to advise

Did you solve this?  I like the look of the Explorer Scientific - all except for the non-standard finder shoe.

Do you have any general comments on the Scope.
