Hi all, I reinstalled my field PC from scratch.  I have a copy on a ZIP drive of my old system's file system.  Does anyone know where the data regarding the framing masks and the plan data is kept please?  I forgot to do snap shots and unless I can retrieve this I need work out all my flats from scratch for all scope combinations and will have lost my framing mask data.

Hoping Yoddha comes along soon :)

Ah ha, just spotted your comment in the first, shows, it helps to read the full question.

QQ - while you wait for him to appear :)

Do you run your atik through APT?

Yes I do.  It works brilliantly with my 460 and supports dithering with PHD guiding.  I think APT is associated with DSLR's (which it also excels at) but it is most capable with CCD's as well through the ASCOM platform.

Hi Steve,

I suppose that you are using Win7 or newer. Then the file you are looking for is :

 "c:\Users\[YOUR_USER_NAME]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Astro Photography Tool - APT\APT.xml"

If you are using XP, then the file is placed where APT is installed.

Looking forward to see them :)

BTW the Backup/Restore was relatively easy to implement :) Just finished the tests of the new feature :D

Oh joy, another version of APT for me to download and not use because of this lousy weather (and moving house but thats immaterial)

:D

Many thanks Dave and Christopher!

APT can be named "community-ware" :D It can't live without the support of the community... The mix of ideas, suggestions, feedback and knowing that it is in help is the fuel :D
