Borg 67FL problems.

The recent Borg reduction was to much of a temptation, so got the 67FL set.

Had the first chance to use it last night and I think there is a major problem.

First off, as supplied it's not possible to reach focus without extensions.

Got that sorted with some tubes.

Using a Canon 60Da here I seem to get good focus with a Bahtinov but the stars seem huge and distorted all over the field.

Can some experts tell whats going on as it looks horrible.

The Borg 67FL set uses a fluorite optic from Canon and Borg's own Japanese-made 0.85x flattener so, whilst it isn't impossible, I will be surprised if it is faulty. My colleague James is our Borg wizard, if you email us he will be pleased to help. Needless to say we are here for you, whatever the conclusion
