My 2nd Uranus

I have improved the results obtained in the previous capture. I reduced the chromaticism that was very evident in the photo of Oct. 9.
This was mainly due to seeing that was much better than last time.
Yet I believe it is impossible to get any detail in such a small disc that requires a rezide 200% to have a presentable size.

very nice looking disc, if its impossible for you to get any detail with your 14" there us not much hope for the rest of us.

.....I'm not really sure if that is exactly what Astro is suggesting above but regardless that statement is most definitely not true Pete: my current thread http://stargazerslounge.com/topic/226913-uranus-moons/page-1 dispels that idea (incidentally no ADC and Uranus only rises to 49° here) - as do the numerous images from other AA'ers in scopes ranging from the C9.25 etc to many other types! :)

To achieve details lrgb are pretty useless by themselves, an iR610nm (longpass) is probably the best bet to bring out banding incidentally - I hope to post more images tomorrow of this elusive target! :)
