Places to take my scope

Hey guys I live in Llanelli and have a decent spot in which I take my scope up a mountain but it's on a slope and is very windy so not ideal so was wondering first where I could go that's not too far from me and is great for viewing and also how do I sign up for the Brecon Beacons party because I am really interested in attending that !!

if you phone them i am sure they have pitches available it runs from wed till Saturday inclusive 22/10/2014 till 26/10/2014 and you would be more than welcome

If you do decide to attend, tell the camp site owners you are with the astronomy group.

They may have a cancelled pitch available which is closer to the main group.
