Lunt DS-60 + First Quark test shot

Recommended Posts

I received my Chromosphere Quark on Thursday, but have been too busy to give it a shot until this morning.

The first 2 shots were with the DS-60 alone. Actually the first shot was only a single etalon.

I had a couple more shots of each setup, but was fighting some type of interference with a power cord. Wasn't NRs, but 3 wide bands, that would come and go. Happened with an without the Quark.

All shots were done with a Skyris 274 mono, 500 (pipp) out of 1000.

I will have way more test this coming week. Weather permitting.

Nice result. I might have to give that a try. I assume you removed the blocking filter?

I wonder how well it would work with a double stack?

I left the 1200bf in with these. I did take one with the double stack/1200bf also, but I was fighting some interference from a power source and I never processed it. Maybe i will take a gander at it.

Here were some of the others. A bit of banding. Nothing to do with Quark though. Had it with and without. Need to re-route some power cables.
