Metaguide and ZWO

Has anyone else run into trouble trying to get metaguide to use a ZWO ASI (120mc) camera? I've got the latest drivers, latest metaguide, tried two computers. It intermittently creates an image but appears very sluggish like the frame rate is once per ten seconds or so (and no its not set to that) and the "framing" seems wrong like i am trying to fit several smaller resolution images into the main screen, though again i've input the dimensions as zwo datasheet.

Anyone got any screen shots of their settings i could try?

Thanks

James

Maybe this will help since the chip is the same but for the qhy5l-ii it's recommend to turn off high speed usb and move the slider to 30 for performance issues. Maybe it's just trying to hard and saturating the usb? This is in the vidprops bit.

It inputs its own data into the boxes once it knows it is an ASI camera, but i thinks the pixels are 6microns; even changing this to 3.75 and saving the settings and relaunching doesn't resolve it, if anything it makes it worse as nothing then appears on screen...

Sounds like a driver compatibility issue. Is the sofware using the native ASI drivers or the Ascom?

I can't get the ASI 120MC to work with PHD either. The metaguide developer has tried various things but thinks it is a driver issue.

If anyone has managed to get a 120MC working with metaguide or PHD, I'd be interested to hear from them.

QHY5 here we come.

Thanks.

I don't have the USB 3 camera. I tried the WDM driver and it still didn't work. The metaguide guy couldn't solve it.

I've since got hold of a different camera so I'm no longer trying to solve this problem.

Thanks
