Pixinsight Diagnostics error

I get this error for all my different filter positions

* Warning: Invalid file name characters will be replaced with underscores in filter name: 'Position 4'

What should I do?

I think it's the space in 'Position 4' that I think PI doesn't like.

Take a look at the settings for your acquisition or filter wheel and see about changing the name of the position there.

It will write this name to a FITS header in the image that PI then reads.

Again, I think this is error...

Thanks Daz you are right.

I entered the calibration frames via the "Custom" option and wrote the filter names by puting Red instead of filter position 2 etc and the diagnostics accepted this.

How do I change the filter name from 1 to Luminance in Artemis?

'Fraid I can't help there - I don't use the Artemis software, I use Sequence Generator Pro!

And I'm not in front of the obsy computer so I can't even look!

Hi Simon,

You can change it in Artemis, as I remember it's in the settings drop Down?

But, it doesn't matter in Pix, it will just rewrite the fits to how it needs to see it

Pixinsight could not recognise filter position 1,2,3,4,5 so I had to use the custom button to manualy load them.

Another question regarding the Calibration routine.

How do I know that my calibration frames are normalized, because in my Pellican run they were not.?
