Stacking deep sky from video

Is it possible to stack from a video .

Yes. Just load video into registax and away it will go.

Assume video is in avi format?

Registax is free so just download and have a play.

I prefer registax 5 over the current 6 which seems very complicated.

It *is* possible, but if you are shooting video at 30 fps (Or the NTSC approximation to that) then you'll only have an exposure time of 1/60th of a second or so. Even at ISO 1600 the stars will be very dim.

Will be interesting to see what you get.
