October 8 lunar eclipse

On Oct 8 2014 their will be a lunar eclipse and because of the position and where the sun will be it will shine threw the atmosphere at the right angle and the will make the light turn a blood red color and when the eclipse happens instead of being black will turn a blood red color here is the link to the NASA video
it says the west coast of  north america would be the best place to view it from lets  hope it does not rain

Not visible in UK, alas (happens around noon our time), but should be very nice for parts of the world that can see it.

The UK see's Saturn's occultation by the moon on the 25th. Starts in daylight around 17:00 and Saturn re emerges at just after 18:00 bst in the SW.
