Milky Way Cepheus to Scutum

Recommended Posts

This was a bit of an afterthought after a night trying to do nightscapes in the Yorkshire Dales. Naked eye, the milky way was as bright as I've seen it from anywhere. Just 4 x 1min subs at iso 1600, no darks or flats. I wish I'd spent more time on it now. Modded Canon 1100d and Samyang 14mm f2.8 lens wide open. Polarie tracker. I left quite a lot of red in because I thought it looked nice, and it shows up IC1396 better (next to the Garnet Star, top left). Thanks for looking.

Pete
