Semi wide M45

After quite a lot of nights wasted with cloud got out to obsy to try and PA my Astrotrac.

My HEQ5 Pro is in a million bits under going some fettling.

Wasted over 2 hours trying to get that second star in its position to no avail.

In the end managed about 1minute subs at 200mm before rotten stars set in.

So took it out on M45.

Canon 60Da plus EF 200mm L f3.5.......12 x 60sec subs @ ISO 3200.

Very nice image i have a soft spot for anything shot around the 200mm focal length range.

Yes, this lens does a good job on M45 and its neighbourhood. I'd have a look at your colour balance. I don't think the reds are pulling their weight as it stands.

plenty of nebulosity there for just 12x60 second subs! agree with Olly your colour balance does look a liitle off though.

I did'nt mess to much on processing as it was just a test for the Astrotrac.

Went out again last night but there was a lot of rubbish upstairs and gave up.

The colour may be a bit off but it's still a nice image.
