Tal 100r focusing knob

The focusing knob on my 100r has disintegrated - it was very brittle plastic. As I intend to sell the scope in the next month or so (I also have a tal 100rs) I need a easy and cheap way to tidy it up. Any ideas?

Not sure on spare parts...you could try the TAL users group (on Yahoo) to see if you can get a spare...or try from TAL directly at the novosibirsk instrument making planet (think you could email and see if they have any). I am sure Andy H will be along shortly as he is the TAL guru on SGL IMO ;-) Good luck...though can't believe you are selling it! 

I will eventually convert one of my 100RS's into a white light solar setup...

I will also try the Yahoo group. I am only selling the 100r to help raise funds for an eq5 for the 100rs.

I dont  think these will fit the TAL100, another option would be to get a local engineering shop to run up a couple out of brass or Ali

Try super glue.
