As all responders have said before me, great shots Roger. Always love to see your work and grateful that you share.

One question: are the images you post what you see through your eyepiece, or have you swapped left for right?

I/we have been through the stuff about what different scopes deliver through the eyepiece and we don't have to do that again. It's just that I was down in the dumps today about not seeing anything through my thick grey blanket - and then managed to catch the briefest (and I do mean briefest; less than five minutes!) glimpse of the Big Guy. And, of course, it was wonderful. But the new activity is coming over the eastern limb and your images have it on the left. For me it's on the right of my view.

Always in awe of what you folks do with your imaging and I know it involves all sorts of things that a dumbo like me can only grasp by hanging on the edge. Just wondered if you swap things as well as using the dark arts of Photoshop, Gimp, etc.

Hi Gordon - with the camera at prime focus i don't have to swap things around, the image is "as seen" by the camera.  Using the naked eye and an eyepiece would lead to image reversal with a refractor.
