Skywatcher Heritage 90 Virtuoso Telescope

Hi.

Just wondering if anyone has bought one of these for astro work on the planets, are they any good?

Not got one of these, but not sure how useful it would really be. Quite a small aperture I guess for a Mak, your 102 has more aperture. People like the 127 Mak, and I would lean towards that. Though you would need another mount as well... As stated on FLO's site, its a good starter / lifestyle gift.  I do like the DSLR mounting trick though....looks a good grab and go scope!

Other members may have more information on it though. and FLO did put a thread up about them when they were released here.

There are also a few you tube reviews of the scope....might be worth searching them out.

I guess any review of a skywatcher 90mm mak would cover it as the scope bit is probably very similar.

I read a thread last year that said tracking was not bad if you first aligned the scope well in set up.

There is a member who has mounted their heritage 130p on this mount.
