How do i add my equipment details to my post

Go into your settings, then choose signature. You may find you have to make a certain number of posts first?

...yep, that's it, but some of the more cynical might have started with...

• you read a lot of magazines, usually in near darkeness..
• then you scour the internet for more of the same.... and download files of images from "Celestia"
• then you finally go and visit a shop with a "particular" group of customers (or buy over the internet);
• at some point the hobby might even be discussed with the SO...(if any)....

after which you can join a happy group of people who won't think you are at all weird if you stay up all night. And you can talk all about your instruments, including the xylophone...

And chang the colour of text in one line, Then change to another. And other settings as well.

You can make your own colours. This is #00704F

You get nicely saturated colours that aren't too bright when one of the channels is 00 like #C7A900

The first two digits are the red channel, the next two are the green channel and the last two the blue channel.

The digits are hexadecimal.

Strange, the first colour changed to a kind of red.

It should be this colour (#00704F).
