Any good observing sites around Milwaukee, WI

Hello, Have a question to ask, to see if anyone knows of any nice observing sites around the Milwaukee Wisconsin area.

In a couple of weeks I have business in the area and thought if I had a free evening or two and if the skies cooperated I could

throw in my camera and small telescope and bring it with me to do some viewing and imaging. Just thought I'd ask

to see, never been to this area before and thought I'd try and get a few images after I get done with my maintenance training

classes in the evenings.

Not specifically aware of any although I know people in that general area - Rockwell Automation.

They appear to have a good setup at New Berlin, has to be to the West as East means standing on water. Looks like 30-40Km.

Their site looks well supplied with observatories and I wonder if people go and observe at times other then the designated club night. It would make sense to use the facilities fairly often. If so you could perhaps drop in and meet them.

Likely more then MAS in the area, I just don't know where the others are exactly located.

Great advice from Ronin as usual. You could also consider posting on http://www.cloudynights.com/index/ since their userbase is more from the US than europe, they might have more local members to help you.
