Birth of British Radio Astronomy?

It looks like there is a new series on BBC2 starting on Thursday 4th September 2014 called Castles in the Sky. It looks to be about the development of RADAR during the second world war, which i believe was a crucial step towards the development of kit and processes used in radio astronomy.

I've just finished reading Bernard Lovell's biography which is when i learnt about his involvement with the development of radar. I hope he gets a mention/appearance, though he isn't listed as a character on the wikipedia page. Should be interesting anyway.
