Rubber split on focuser

I was wondering if anyone's had this problem before.Set up scope tonight hopefully get a glimpse of comet Jacques and noticed rubber had split on focuser(on the side I always use typical) so not very comfortable,can these be replaced? and if so where can I get them from or is it a DIY badge,thanks in advance

I'll have to have a look at a 200P one day, still none the wiser.

I have WO refractors and a Meade Mak.

The Meade has a sort of metal "rod" now with a flexi whatsit attached, the WO focusers are all aluminium not a bit of rubber in sight on any of them.

I,m thinking of maybe going down the o ring route possibly by a pack of 10 so some spare.It is a shame though that skywatcher make these products but finish them off with the cheapest material available monkey metal,stretched jelly beans and elephants earwax
