I seem to have lost the ability to edit my posts? What's going on?

You have to be quick ! Your ability to edit times out after umm, I forget how long.

It is all very tedious for all us dilexiculls wot only notice after a while,

so often quick topical posts dont get sent at all, just in case,

and substantive posts spend so long in Notepad first that they never ever get out ! !

Ant > Where in Firefox ? Does it need enabling first ? I use Firefox and have never seen it :(

Grote > What I do is always have a Google tab open and if one of my worms loos suspicious I copy&paste it there which then gives either a list of similar searches or a "do you mean " error :)

But that needs it looking suspicious in the first place !!

Bizi > if I were to PM about all mine you'd soon get tired of me :) !

The strange thing is that even though I might compose and correct in Notepad it always looks different when posted in white&black, so there is always a "Doh!" moment lol!

Mind-u, it might be a good thing if it all cuts down my posting rate, big sighs of relief and nodding heads all round LOL.

IE 11 will underline  spelling errors and right clicking on the word will give you a drop down of "options" for the correct word/spelling...

lines were for. :iamwithstupid: No more

For Firefox, go to 'Tools' > 'Options' > 'General' and tick the 'check my spelling as I type' box :)

Thanks , , ,  ,  but !

I had to go to Tools  > Options > Advanced > General and in the "Browsing" specs ,

the box is already ticked !! Oh drat, pesky software, it lies !!

Sigh.
