No the peak was last week, except like me it seems the peak count was 0 for you as well.

The number of meteors is fairly random when there is no defined shower, it just depends on the amout of dust that the earth's path sort of bumps into.

It is also worth looking up minor meteor showers as well as the well known ones, you could have experienced one of them.

One minor shower is the Kappa Cygnids. they peak on Aug 18 today so last night would have been close.

Period is from Aug 06-Aug 31 but not exactly many, very likely no more the the background number.
