I note that you have no comets for Britain this month. Is Jacques not likely to be visible with binoculars? I've not seen it myself yet but a few forum members have noted that it is quite bright

Hi Kerry,

It's a foul-up: my software is giving it as fainter (10.3) than it actually is (7-ish) ; I'll correct it tomorrow when I get a chance

Understood Steve. I find that Luminos for example consistently underestimates comet brightness - it gives Jacques as 10.64 at the moment. Reports on SGL are more reliable!

Saw Jacques through the 18x50 binoculars at 3.00am. Quite bright despite the very bright moon.
