NGC 6905 "The Blue Flash"

Pretty little planetary nebula in Delphinus. At low power there looks to be some nebulosity to the nearby stars. This is capped by the elongate nebulous NGC. Well worth finding. I spent a long time mesmerised by this,

Nick are you using a filter the past two times ive been out ive not been able to see this

I had to google this one. Nice looking Neb. I'm puzzled though because in some images its round and in others its clearly elongated. I'm guessing the elongation is only visible with certain filters?

Hope I get a clear night this monday. I will check my view with and without filter on my dob.

It was very clear last time I saw it but I didn't use the filter some how.
