Solar sketches 29th July pm

Two sketches today of the main active groups. Done after work this evening between 7pm and about 7.40pm.

The seeing was excellent to start with, some lovely granulation and tiny spots visible. It backed off as the sun got lower and some patchy cloud came over.

The first sketch, and the one I'm more pleased with is of ARs 2121, 2126 and 2123.

The second is of ARs 2127, 2125, 2124 and 2128. This one was a bit more rushed, clouds and the encroaching rooftop causing me to rush a little.

I was, however seated this time which was much easier. Will continue to experiment with 'technique' and observing arrangements but am getting there.
