It looks like i might have a buyer for the old house..................my girlfriend has told me to treat myself, i jokingly said i could get a new scope, she said do it.................trouble is i cant think of any thing i want or need, the only scope i sort of fancy getting is an evostar 90, dont even know why

I think the Herschel Wedge is a great idea. You love your lunar observing so I think it would be something you would like too.

Gonna get myself shot, or at least demoted now...........................but im not really "into" Solar, i dabble on the odd occasion so no Lunt or Hershel jobby, and was jesting about the dob

120 ED would be nice but think i would have to sell all other scopes to justify, thinking maybe a Vixen scope could be nice, i miss my old 80 f11, and sort of like a VMC110 but heard mixed things about them, this wont be for a while even if offer is accepted, will take a while to get money into bank

I do enjoy my Helios 90mm but I agree as others have said in that it wouldn't really offer you anything you haven't already got. A 120ED would be a no brainer for me if I were in your shoes but then you already know that

How many way can one SEE a *visual* target? Maybe a (challenging, budget)  8" / F4 Photo-Newt?

Video Astronomy? When one is "fairy well served" with scopes, perhaps a change of direction...

Decided what to get, a bit of a surprise but a scope i have sort of hankered after for a while, it will work very well as a grab an go, and will be good on my AZ4 plus my AZ supertrack for webcam lunar and solar..............the Vixen vmc110
