New Grab and Go - Assimilated !! First light.

Hi All. Just thort I'd pop a few words about a recent purchase.  Have been looking for a grab and go for a little while.  This Borg 76 Achro turned up on ABS.  Birthday not far off so money got spent.  You can;t take it with you after all.  No way i could afford Borg APO !!! 

Couple of marks on the tube but after a bit of spit and polish it came up rather well.  The dewshield was slipping but have been able to add some padding and all is now well.

First light last nite for half an hour or so on my Skytee.  Usual suspects.  M13 - M57 - Albeiro - Mizar.   Looking forward to quick lunar work at very short notice.   Very happy.

Had a bit of solar action today in tandem with my 127 APO.   The Borg is holding it's own but obviously not a fair comparison.   Added a couple of photos for perusal.

3 scopes now.  Decided I have most bases covered - said he   LOL
