No chance of night viewing - too light and the haar keeps rolling in about 5-6 o'clock.

But the days! Beautiful and a spectacular sun again. Lots of activity on the limbs making up for the loss of the huge sunspots.

Must rush back out ...

last night started out clear, i redone the PA, fired up PHD2, which prior to the realigning the DEC went straight down, now has  2 wiggly lines and a 60 second Deneb showed round stars, tonight is getting cloudy...... :(

Here in scarborough yur lucky when the sun gets thro with the north easterly. It did yeaterday and it was hot but as soon as it starteddown in the evening the sea fret rolled back in. Just burning off now

Yes know the feeling Kev.  Looked so promising through to early evening then any hope of a spot of observing soon disappeared into the fret and my view from town looking towards Staxton :(

It's been cloudless all week in Yorkshire but the seeing has been very poor, tonight is pretty good though. Alas looking at the forecast it may be the swan song of the moonless, clear nights.
