Whilst taking a diversion from the A329(M) to home, I 'spotted' a meteor travelling in a southerly direction. As I was driving at the time I estimated it to be about magnitude -1.5, pale green in colour and at a steep angle between 60-70 degrees at 2236GMT/UTC (2336BST) approx. Anyone else see or confirm?

Always worth you reporting these to the BAA meteor section - I think they still do some triangulation of brighter meteors. I never tire of seeing a bright meteor!

I once attracted the attention of the police after seeing a bright fireball on the A1(M) in Yorkshire. I pulled over to jot down the details only to find blue flashing lights in front of me. When the chap came over to speak to me, I balked and told him that I'd got a fly in my eye and couldn't see properly.
