A quick look through the PST this morning...

Showed some nice proms on both east and west limbs. On the east limb there are some nice delicate threads whilst on the west / south there is a very "hairy" active area as well as a decent size filament. Some decent surface detail returning to the eastern side of the disk as well with the new spot group that has just made it's way over the limb.

Good to hear there is a bit of activity making it's way back onto the disk, David!

There was a lovely, very large but quite delicate prom visible yesterday afternoon, had some great views of it. As said, a little more activity kicking off now after a very quiet time

Excellent clear skies here this evening  All is looking fine on the solar radar, some excellent detail in the proms as mentioned by Stu.

I was hoping to see the return of the giant sunspots  maybe tomorrow.
