is this a collimation issue ??

Recommended Posts

despite having a laser collimator that is collimated and centered
and making a collimation cap for manual I still feel I have a collimation issue
so I plan to order a premium combined Cheshire Collimator with Sight Tube tomorrow

while general viewing is fine imaging shows a big difference in star sharpness on the left and right

is night and day

is this just down to collimation or something else, I realise I need a Coma corrector and plan to order one
but the stars on the left are like tadpoles compared to ones on the right
