Latest batch from the Quark.

Wow, still knocking spots off mine.  I have decided that my Quark only really performs when the seeing is good to very good and even then I need to use a 0.5x FR to get anything decent.  If I don't they just look as the though the focal length is too long.  Perhaps an 80mm scope is not really large enough, I know you use a 102mm?

I am going to have to try my WO 102 when I get back, especially since I found a 2" Baader UV/IR cut filter in my night time filters that isn't been used.

Thanks for all the appreciative comments. :) Robin, yes I have found that it works best with the 0.5x reducer, although I actually think that the reducer on the short nose piece gives me around 0.7x  You just need to experiment to discover what works best.

A couple of my recent pictures at prime focus have come out okay, but they need zero wind and good seeing.  I have been setting my 0.5x FR to get 0.5x for the Quark, but set it much closer, about 0.8x for my full disc white light shots and through use of spacers, could set anything in between, I will give it a try next still day we get here.

Thanks for the tips.
