My first Saturn!

Despite being low on the horizon and not close to a near-full moon, I have my first successful image of a planet!

Taken 11/06/14, Skyliner 200p dobsonian, Phillips SPC 880 flashed to 900. Manual tracking. Run through Pipp and Registax6.

I'm quite pleased with this but I hope to do better next time!

Thanks a lot! To be honest  this isn't exactly my first attempt at Saturn.  :icon_rolleyes:  It's just the first that's any good.

My true first attempt was this:

This was using a digital camera and an afocal support. I abandoned photographing planets like this though because the camera switched itself off in the cold if I tried to zoom in!

What surprised me with my (much better) Saturn was the fact that I  captured the Cassini division, despite It being barely visible in the E.P at the time.
