Steve, the large circles that screw into the tube on the Altitude axis.  How did you manage to get them both so round?  As we know,a slight flat spot and you'll feel it when you move the scope up.

Hi Steve,

I used a small router on a jig that I made from scratch using 3mm MDF to make the 'wheels'. These were not perfect as the router jumped from time to time when a particularly hard piece of ply was encountered but in reality, you only use a little under half of the circumference for typical sky coverage so I chose the best regions of each circumference and covered these with the laminate. I chose the best regions before I cut out the two holes in each wheel.
